  1. Conduct thorough consultations with patients to assess their genetic history and identify potential genetic disorders.
  2. Perform genetic testing and analysis to diagnose and confirm genetic disorders.
  3. Develop individualized treatment plans for patients based on their specific genetic disorder, including medication management and lifestyle recommendations.
  4. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as physicians, genetic counselors, and nurses, to provide comprehensive care to patients.
  5. Stay up-to-date on the latest research and advancements in the field of genetics, and incorporate new findings into patient care.
  6. Educate patients and their families about their genetic disorder and provide them with resources and support.
  7. Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient assessments, diagnoses, and treatment plans.
  8. Adhere to all ethical and legal guidelines in the practice of genetics, including patient confidentiality.
  9. Participate in departmental meetings and conferences to discuss patient cases and share knowledge and expertise with colleagues.
  10. Continuously strive to improve the quality of care provided to patients through ongoing education and professional development.
