- Oversee the development and maintenance of enterprise architecture standards and guidelines, ensuring consistency and compatibility across all technology systems and processes.

- Manage the technology budget, making strategic investments and cost-saving decisions to support the organization's goals.

- Serve as a liaison between the technology department and other departments within Mayo Clinic, fostering strong relationships and effective communication.
- Represent Mayo Clinic at industry events and conferences, and participate in discussions and collaborations with other healthcare organizations to share best practices and drive innovation in the field.
Extensive Experience In Technology Leadership: The Ideal Candidate Should Have At Least 10 Years Of Experience In A Senior Technology Leadership Role, Preferably In A Large Healthcare Organization. They Should Have A Proven Track Record Of Successfully Implementing Technology Strategies And Driving Innovation.
Strong Understanding Of Healthcare Technology: The Candidate Should Possess A Deep Understanding Of The Healthcare Industry, Including The Latest Trends And Emerging Technologies. They Should Have Experience In Implementing And Managing Electronic Health Record Systems, Telehealth, And Other Healthcare-Specific Technologies.
Strategic Thinker And Visionary: As The Vice Chair Of Enterprise Architecture, The Candidate Will Be Responsible For Setting The Technology Vision And Strategy For Mayo Clinic. Therefore, They Should Have A Strong Track Record Of Strategic Thinking And The Ability To Translate That Vision Into Actionable Plans.
