- Perform diagnostic and interventional procedures in the Electrophysiology Lab under the supervision of a physician.
- Prepare and operate specialized equipment for cardiovascular procedures, including cardiac catheters, imaging machines, and physiologic monitoring devices.
- Monitor and assess patient vital signs and responses during procedures to ensure safety and comfort.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare team members to plan and execute procedures.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of procedures, patient information, and equipment usage.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and infection control measures.
- Stay current on advancements in cardiovascular technology and procedures.
- Educate patients and families on procedures and post-procedure care.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and assist in developing and implementing new processes and protocols.
- Provide exceptional patient care and ensure a positive patient experience.
- Collaborate with other members of the healthcare team to ensure efficient and effective patient care.
- Communicate effectively and professionally with patients, families, and colleagues.

Formal Education And Training: A Minimum Of A Bachelor's Degree In Cardiovascular Technology Or A Related Field Is Required. Additional Training And Certification In Electrophysiology Is Highly Desirable.
Clinical Experience: A Minimum Of 2-3 Years Of Experience In A Cardiac Catheterization Lab Setting, With Specific Experience In Electrophysiology Procedures, Is Required. Experience With Specialized Equipment And Techniques Such As Electrophysiology Mapping And Ablation Is Highly Desirable.
Certification: Certification As A Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (Rcis) Through Cardiovascular Credentialing International (Cci) Is Required. Additional Certification In Electrophysiology Or Other Related Specialties Is Highly Desirable.
Knowledge And Skills: Extensive Knowledge Of Cardiovascular Anatomy, Physiology, And Pharmacology, As Well As A Thorough Understanding Of Electrophysiology Procedures And Equipment, Is Necessary For This Role. Strong Technical Skills, Critical Thinking Abilities, And Attention To Detail Are Also Crucial.
Communication And Teamwork: Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills Are Essential For Working Effectively With Patients, Physicians, And Other Healthcare Professionals In A Fast-Paced, Team-Oriented Environment.
