  1. Perform cardiac ultrasound procedures on patients according to established protocols and standards.
  2. Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment, ensuring proper functioning and safety.
  3. Accurately document and record ultrasound findings and patient information.
  4. Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to determine appropriate ultrasound imaging techniques and provide assistance during procedures.
  5. Educate patients about the ultrasound procedure and answer any questions or concerns.
  6. Ensure patient comfort and safety during procedures by monitoring vital signs and responding to any adverse reactions.
  7. Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  8. Adhere to all hospital and department policies and procedures.
  9. Attend and participate in departmental meetings and educational sessions to stay updated on new techniques and technologies.
  10. Provide excellent customer service to patients and their families, addressing any questions or concerns in a professional and compassionate manner.
  11. Assist with scheduling and coordinating patient appointments.
  12. Participate in quality improvement initiatives to improve patient care and outcomes.
  13. Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to all HIPAA regulations.
  14. Continuously strive for professional growth and development through self-directed learning and attending continuing education programs.
  15. Contribute to a positive and collaborative work environment by communicating effectively with colleagues and promoting teamwork.
  16. Adhere to strict infection control protocols to ensure patient and staff safety.
  17. Follow all safety procedures and protocols to prevent accidents and injuries.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Diagnostic Medical Sonography Or A Related Field

  • Certification As A Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (Rdcs) Or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (Rcs) Through Ardms

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In Cardiac Ultrasound Imaging

  • Strong Knowledge And Understanding Of Cardiac Anatomy, Physiology, And Pathology

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work Effectively In A Team Setting And Provide Patient Education.
