- Perform high-quality breast imaging procedures using the latest technology and techniques.
- Ensure patient comfort and safety during imaging procedures.
- Follow established protocols and procedures for accurate image acquisition and interpretation.
- Monitor patient response and make necessary adjustments during imaging procedures.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of imaging procedures and patient information.
- Adhere to all safety and radiation protection guidelines.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate interpretation and diagnosis of images.
- Maintain equipment and report any malfunctions or issues to the appropriate personnel.
- Stay up-to-date on advancements and changes in breast imaging technology and techniques.
- Educate patients and their families on imaging procedures and answer any questions or concerns.
- Maintain a compassionate and professional demeanor with patients and their families.
- Adhere to all HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality.
- Participate in quality control and quality improvement initiatives.
- Contribute to a positive work environment by fostering teamwork and open communication.
- Attend continuing education and training opportunities to maintain and enhance skills and knowledge.
Certification: Candidates Should Be Certified By The American Registry Of Radiologic Technologists (Arrt) In Mammography.
Experience: A Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience As A Breast Imaging Technologist Is Preferred.
Knowledge Of Breast Imaging Equipment: Candidates Should Have Expertise In Operating And Maintaining Various Breast Imaging Equipment, Such As Digital Mammography, Ultrasound, And Mri.
Communication Skills: The Ability To Effectively Communicate With Patients, Physicians, And Other Healthcare Professionals Is Essential For This Role.
Patient Care: Candidates Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Patient Care, Including Positioning, Safety, And Comfort During Breast Imaging Procedures.
