- Assist anesthesiologists and other healthcare professionals with the administration of anesthesia during surgical procedures.
- Ensure the safe and proper use of anesthesia equipment and supplies.
- Maintain and organize anesthesia supplies and equipment to ensure availability and proper functioning.
- Monitor patient vital signs and anesthesia levels during procedures.
- Prepare and set up anesthesia equipment and supplies for procedures.
- Provide support and assistance to anesthesiologists during intubation and other invasive procedures.
- Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and regulations related to anesthesia administration.
- Collaborate with other members of the healthcare team to provide exceptional patient care.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of procedures and patient information.
- Stay up-to-date on new techniques and technologies related to anesthesia administration.
- Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Adhere to the ethical standards and code of conduct of the Mayo Clinic.
- Maintain a professional and empathetic attitude towards patients and their families.
- Keep work area clean and organized to ensure a safe and efficient environment.

Completion Of An Accredited Anesthesia Technician Program Or Equivalent Training.
Current Certification As A Certified Anesthesia Technician (Cer.a.t) Or Certified Anesthesia Technologist (Cer.a.t.t) Through The American Society Of Anesthesia Technologists And Technicians (Asatt).
Minimum Of 1-2 Years Of Experience Working As An Anesthesia Technician In A Hospital Or Healthcare Setting.
Knowledge Of Anesthesia Equipment, Supplies, And Procedures.
Ability To Work In A Fast-Paced, High-Pressure Environment And Handle Multiple Tasks Simultaneously While Maintaining Accuracy And Attention To Detail.
