  1. Assist anesthesiologists and other healthcare professionals with the administration of anesthesia during surgical procedures.
  2. Ensure the safe and proper use of anesthesia equipment and supplies.
  3. Maintain and organize anesthesia supplies and equipment to ensure availability and proper functioning.
  4. Monitor patient vital signs and anesthesia levels during procedures.
  5. Prepare and set up anesthesia equipment and supplies for procedures.
  6. Provide support and assistance to anesthesiologists during intubation and other invasive procedures.
  7. Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and regulations related to anesthesia administration.
  8. Collaborate with other members of the healthcare team to provide exceptional patient care.
  9. Maintain accurate and detailed records of procedures and patient information.
  10. Stay up-to-date on new techniques and technologies related to anesthesia administration.
  11. Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
  12. Adhere to the ethical standards and code of conduct of the Mayo Clinic.
  13. Maintain a professional and empathetic attitude towards patients and their families.
  14. Keep work area clean and organized to ensure a safe and efficient environment.
  15. Continuously assess and improve processes to increase efficiency and quality of care.

Job Qualifications
  • Completion Of An Accredited Anesthesia Technician Program Or Equivalent Training.

  • Current Certification As A Certified Anesthesia Technician (Cer.a.t) Or Certified Anesthesia Technologist (Cer.a.t.t) Through The American Society Of Anesthesia Technologists And Technicians (Asatt).

  • Minimum Of 1-2 Years Of Experience Working As An Anesthesia Technician In A Hospital Or Healthcare Setting.

  • Knowledge Of Anesthesia Equipment, Supplies, And Procedures.

  • Ability To Work In A Fast-Paced, High-Pressure Environment And Handle Multiple Tasks Simultaneously While Maintaining Accuracy And Attention To Detail.
