
3D Lab Aide
Mayo Clinic is seeking an enthusiastic and creative 3D Lab Aide to join our team in providing innovative solutions and support for our 3D Lab. The successful candidate will be a self-starter who is passionate about 3D printing and design, and able to collaborate effectively with other lab personnel.The ideal candidate for this role will possess a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, 3D Printing, or a related field, as well as experience with CAD software and 3D printing systems. They will also have excellent communication and problem-solving skills, and be able to work both independently and as part of a team.If you are excited by the challenge of working in a creative and fast-paced lab environment, then we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities:
- Provide innovative solutions and support for 3D Lab operations.
- Operate 3D printing systems and CAD software.
- Troubleshoot and solve problems related to 3D printing and design.
- Identify and implement process improvements to 3D Lab operations.
- Monitor 3D print production and adjust settings as needed.
- Communicate effectively with other lab personnel.
- Maintain a safe and clean workspace.
- Follow established 3D Lab safety protocols.
- Assist in training and educating other lab personnel on 3D printing and design.
- Develop and implement best practices for 3D printing and design.
