Job Description

Join Matternet as a Global Supply Manager and play a central role in the company’s success by helping develop and work in Matternet’s global procurement and logistics operations! Drive selection and management of contract manufacturing partners. Manage the planning and procurement process, support R&D and manufacturing inventory process, develop a robust supply chain program, and manage global shipping and logistics needs. Procure materials, components, equipment, and services at the lowest cost consistent with quality, reliability of source and urgency requirements. Manage the vendor bidding process and negotiations. Maintain accurate supply chain documentation within the company’s ERP and ensure timely receipt of purchases. Interface with accounting to resolve invoice and receiving problems. Provide oversight to logistics carriers to ensure continual on-target performance.

Job Qualifications

7+ years of relevant work experience
Experience managing an enterprise ERP system
Knowledge of logistics and supply chain operations and resources
Knowledge of legal concepts related to logistics activities such as freight claims, tax and import/export
