Vice President, Government Engagement

At Mastercard, we are looking for a highly qualified and motivated Vice President of Government Engagement to join our team. This individual will be a critical part of our Government Relations and Policy team, responsible for leading our efforts to build and maintain relationships with government agencies and policymakers. The successful candidate will be an excellent communicator and negotiator, with a passion for public policy and an aptitude for strategic thinking.The Vice President of Government Engagement will report directly to the Chief Public Policy Officer and work closely with our global Government Relations and Policy team to ensure successful engagement with governments, regulators, and other stakeholders. This individual will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of our lobbying strategy, building and maintaining relationships with government officials, and supporting the Chief Public Policy Officer in developing and executing our policy agenda.To be successful in this role, the Vice President of Government Engagement must possess a Bachelor’s degree in political science, public policy, international relations, or a related field. A Master’s degree in a related field is preferred. Additionally, this individual must have at least 10 years of experience working in government affairs and/or public policy, with a demonstrated track record of successful engagement with government officials.
