  1. Provide legal support and guidance to various business units within Mastercard.
  2. Stay updated on the latest developments and changes in the payments industry to ensure compliance and effectiveness in legal strategies.
  3. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify and assess potential legal risks and provide solutions to mitigate them.
  4. Conduct legal research and draft legal documents, including contracts, agreements, and policies.
  5. Advise on legal issues related to product development, marketing, and sales.
  6. Work with external legal counsel as needed and manage relationships with outside firms.
  7. Review and negotiate contracts and agreements with clients, vendors, and partners.

Job Qualifications
  • Juris Doctor (J.d.) Degree From An Accredited Law School

  • Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In A Legal Role, Preferably In The Financial Services Industry

  • Strong Understanding Of Relevant Laws And Regulations, Including Consumer Protection Laws, Privacy Laws, And Financial Services Regulations

  • Excellent Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Provide Sound Legal Advice And Recommendations

  • Ability To Effectively Communicate Complex Legal Concepts To Non-Legal Stakeholders And Work Collaboratively With Cross-Functional Teams.
