  1. Conduct legal research and analysis to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations in the payments industry.
  2. Draft and review contracts, agreements, and other legal documents pertaining to Mastercard's business operations.
  3. Collaborate with various departments and teams to provide legal guidance and support in decision-making processes.
  4. Keep up-to-date with changes in laws and regulations that may impact Mastercard's operations and provide proactive recommendations.
  5. Investigate and resolve legal issues, disputes, and claims involving Mastercard.
  6. Work closely with external legal counsel and manage relationships with outside legal partners.
  7. Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure legal and ethical compliance across the organization.
  8. Educate and train employees on legal matters and best practices to mitigate legal risks.
  9. Conduct internal audits and risk assessments to identify potential legal issues and develop strategies to address them.
  10. Represent Mastercard in legal proceedings and manage relationships with regulatory agencies.
  11. Monitor and report on industry trends and developments that may impact Mastercard's legal and business strategies.
  12. Foster a culture of integrity and ethical behavior within the organization.
  13. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure legal considerations are incorporated into new product development and business initiatives.
  14. Provide guidance and support on data privacy and security matters.
  15. Continuously improve and streamline legal processes and procedures to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
