Senior Specialist, Legal Services
We are looking for an experienced Senior Specialist, Legal Services to join the Mastercard family. As a Senior Specialist, Legal Services, you will be a key part of our Legal Team and will be responsible for providing legal advice and support on a wide variety of legal issues.To be successful in this role, you must have a thorough understanding of legal principles and practices, excellent research and analytical skills, and a strong ability to communicate effectively. You must also be highly organized and have a proven ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize work.We are looking for someone with a passion for the legal profession and the ability to think outside of the box. Responsibilities:
- Provide legal advice and support on a wide variety of legal issues in accordance with applicable laws and regulations
- Research and analyze legal issues and prepare legal documents
- Monitor and keep apprised of current legal developments
- Develop and implement legal strategies to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations
- Develop and maintain effective working relationships with external counsel
- Support the Legal team in providing legal advice and opinions
- Manage multiple projects and prioritize work
- Prepare and file legal documents
- Represent the company in meetings and court proceedings
- Maintain a positive attitude and commitment to excellence
- Exercise good judgment and maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
