Job Description

Mastercard is seeking a highly experienced and driven individual to join our team as the Senior Principal for Northern Europe Services Business Development. In this role, you will be responsible for driving growth and expansion of our services business in the Northern Europe region. We are looking for a strategic leader who can identify and capitalize on new business opportunities, while building strong relationships with key partners and stakeholders. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a proven track record in business development and a deep understanding of the Northern Europe market.   1. Develop and implement a strategic plan for driving growth and expansion of Mastercard's services business in the Northern Europe region.
  2. Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the Northern Europe market, including partnerships, acquisitions, and market expansions.
  3. Build and maintain strong relationships with key partners and stakeholders in the region.
  4. Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and potential challenges in the Northern Europe market.
  5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute go-to-market strategies for new services and products.
  6. Develop and present business cases and proposals to senior management to secure support and resources for new initiatives.
  7. Monitor and track key performance indicators to measure the success of business development efforts and make recommendations for improvement.
  8. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and competitors' activities to identify potential threats and opportunities.
  9. Represent Mastercard at industry events, conferences, and other networking opportunities to promote our services business and establish new partnerships.
  10. Mentor and provide guidance to junior team members and contribute to their professional development.
  11. Continuously drive innovation and improvement in processes and strategies to achieve sustainable business growth.
  12. Collaborate with global and regional teams to align business development efforts and share best practices.
  13. Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures.

Job Qualifications
  • Extensive Experience In Business Development: A Senior Principal At Mastercard Must Have A Proven Track Record Of Successfully Driving Business Growth Through Strategic Partnerships, Sales, And Market Development. This Includes A Minimum Of 10 Years Of Experience In Business Development Or A Related Field.

  • Industry Knowledge And Expertise: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Deep Understanding Of The Financial Services Industry In Northern Europe. They Should Also Have A Strong Knowledge Of Emerging Trends, Competitors, And The Regulatory Landscape In The Region.

  • Strong Leadership And Communication Skills: As A Senior Principal, The Candidate Must Possess Excellent Leadership And Communication Skills To Effectively Manage A Team And Collaborate With Cross-Functional Teams. They Should Also Have Experience In Presenting To And Negotiating With Senior-Level Executives.

  • Results-Oriented: The Role Of A Senior Principal Is Focused On Driving Business Growth And Achieving Results. The Candidate Must Have A Track Record Of Meeting Or Exceeding Sales Targets, Developing New Business Opportunities, And Delivering Innovative Solutions To Clients.
