Security Monitoring and Response Analyst

As a Security Monitoring and Response Analyst, you will be responsible for detecting, analyzing, and responding to cybersecurity events and incidents. You will have a strong aptitude for problem solving, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, as well as at least 3 years of experience in network security, incident response, and threat detection. Additionally, hands-on experience in security tools such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, and log analysis is highly desirable. Responsibilities:

1. Monitor and analyze network security events and incidents, with a focus on detection, prevention, and response.
2. Develop and refine network security policies and procedures for responding to cyber threats.
3. Use security tools such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, and log analysis to detect, analyze, and respond to cyber threats.
4. Create detailed reports on cyber threats and incidents for review by stakeholders.
5. Troubleshoot and resolve complex security issues.
6. Evaluate and recommend new security technologies and procedures.
7. Develop and implement security awareness training for users and staff.
8. Remain up-to-date on the latest cyber threats and security trends.
9. Participate in security-related meetings, conferences, and workshops.
10. Collaborate with other IT and security teams to ensure the highest levels of security are maintained.
