  1. Develop and implement employee relations policies and procedures to ensure a positive and inclusive work culture.
  2. Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on employee relations matters, including performance management, conflict resolution, and workplace conduct.
  3. Conduct investigations into employee complaints and concerns, and make recommendations for appropriate actions.
  4. Stay up-to-date on employment laws and regulations, and ensure compliance in all employee relations practices.
  5. Develop and deliver training programs to promote a positive and respectful workplace culture.
  6. Collaborate with HR and legal teams to address complex employee relations issues.
  7. Analyze trends and metrics to identify areas for improvement and make recommendations for proactive solutions.
  8. Partner with managers and HR to develop and implement strategies to improve employee engagement and retention.
  9. Advise and coach managers on performance management and disciplinary actions.
  10. Represent the company in meetings and negotiations with employee representatives.
  11. Monitor and report on employee relations metrics to senior management.
  12. Act as a point of contact for employees to raise concerns and provide guidance on company policies and procedures.
  13. Lead and manage a team of employee relations professionals.
  14. Collaborate with other departments to ensure consistent and fair treatment of employees.
  15. Continuously review and improve employee relations processes and practices to promote a positive work environment.

Job Qualifications
  • Extensive Knowledge Of Employment Laws And Regulations: A Manager, Employee Relations At Mastercard Should Possess A Thorough Understanding Of Local, State, And Federal Employment Laws And Regulations To Ensure Compliance And Mitigate Risk For The Company.

  • Strong Conflict Resolution Skills: As A Manager, Employee Relations, It Is Crucial To Have The Ability To Effectively Resolve Workplace Conflicts And Disputes, Whether Between Employees Or Between Employees And Management. This Includes Active Listening, Problem-Solving, And Mediation Skills.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills: The Role Of A Manager, Employee Relations Requires Frequent Communication With Employees, Managers, And Hr Professionals. Therefore, Strong Verbal And Written Communication Skills, Along With The Ability To Build Positive Working Relationships, Are Essential.

  • Experience In Employee Relations And Hr Policies: A Successful Candidate For This Role Should Have Prior Experience In Employee Relations, Preferably In A Corporate Setting. They Should Also Have A Solid Understanding Of Hr Policies And Procedures, Including Performance Management, Disciplinary Actions, And Employee Engagement.

  • Ability To Handle Sensitive And Confidential Information: As A Manager, Employee Relations, One Will Often Deal With Sensitive And Confidential Employee Information. Hence, It Is Crucial To Have A High Level Of Professionalism, Integrity, And Discretion To Maintain Confidentiality And Protect Employee Privacy.
