
Lead Cloud Data Engineer

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience working with cloud data engineering technologies and a track record of successfully leading cloud data engineering projects.The Lead Cloud Data Engineer at Mastercard will be responsible for driving cloud data engineering initiatives and leveraging the latest technologies to develop solutions that will improve the scalability, performance, and security of our cloud-based data systems. This is a highly technical role and requires a wide range of technical and leadership skills.The successful candidate will have a minimum of five years of experience in cloud data engineering, with an emphasis on designing and developing cloud-based data solutions. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field. Expertise in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C# is necessary, as well as experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP. Knowledge of distributed computing platforms, such as Apache Spark and Apache Hadoop, is a major plus. The successful candidate will also have strong problem-solving skills and a proven track record of leading teams in developing successful cloud-based solutions.
