  1. Lead a team of front end engineers in the development and implementation of innovative solutions for our digital products and services.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop and deploy high-quality front end solutions.
  3. Set technical direction and provide guidance to the team in developing efficient and scalable code.
  4. Stay up-to-date with emerging front end technologies and trends, and make recommendations for their adoption.
  5. Mentor and coach team members to improve their technical skills and knowledge.
  6. Conduct code reviews to ensure coding standards, best practices, and quality are met.
  7. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues and provide timely resolutions.
  8. Collaborate with product managers to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  9. Create and maintain technical documentation for reference and future use.
  10. Monitor and report on team performance, and identify areas for improvement.
  11. Participate in recruitment and onboarding of new team members.
  12. Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of projects.
  13. Maintain a positive and collaborative work environment within the team.
  14. Ensure compliance with Mastercard's security and data protection policies.
  15. Continuously strive to improve processes and methodologies to enhance team efficiency and productivity.

Job Qualifications

  • Strong Proficiency In Front End Development Technologies: The Ideal Candidate For A Front End Engineering Technical Lead Role At Mastercard Should Possess Strong Technical Skills And Expertise In Front End Development Technologies Such As Html, Css, Javascript, And React. They Should Also Have A Solid Understanding Of Web Development Principles And Best Practices.

  • Experience In Leading And Managing Teams: As A Technical Lead, The Candidate Must Have Experience In Leading And Managing Teams Of Front End Engineers. This Includes Setting Project Goals, Delegating Tasks, Providing Guidance And Support, And Ensuring The Team Delivers High-Quality Work Within Given Timelines.

  • Knowledge Of Agile Methodologies: Mastercard Follows Agile Methodologies For Software Development, And The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Good Understanding Of These Methodologies. This Includes Experience In Agile Project Management, Knowledge Of Scrum Or Kanban, And The Ability To Work In A Fast-Paced, Iterative Environment.

  • Strategic Thinking And Problem-Solving Skills: A Front End Engineering Technical Lead At Mastercard Should Have Excellent Strategic Thinking And Problem-Solving Skills. They Should Be Able To Analyze Complex Technical Problems, Propose Innovative Solutions, And Make Decisions That Align With The Company's Goals And Objectives.

  • Effective Communication And Collaboration Skills: The Candidate Should Possess Excellent Communication And Collaboration Skills To Work Effectively With Cross-Functional Teams. This Includes The Ability To Communicate Technical Concepts To Non-Technical Stakeholders, Collaborate With Designers And Backend Engineers, And Provide Constructive Feedback To Team Members.
