  1. Develop and implement database strategies to support the organization's goals and objectives.
  2. Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of all databases within the organization.
  3. Ensure the security, integrity, and performance of all databases.
  4. Monitor and analyze database performance, identifying and resolving any issues.
  5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and understand data requirements for new projects and initiatives.
  6. Troubleshoot any database related issues and provide timely resolutions.
  7. Develop and implement backup and disaster recovery plans for all databases.
  8. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in database management and make recommendations for improvements.
  9. Train and mentor junior database administrators to ensure the effective management of databases.
  10. Communicate and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to gather and understand data needs and requirements.
  11. Develop and maintain database documentation, including data standards, procedures, and guidelines.
  12. Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations and company policies.
  13. Continuously monitor and optimize database performance to ensure efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
  14. Evaluate and recommend new database technologies and tools to enhance data management processes.
  15. Manage and maintain relationships with database vendors and service providers.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Computer Science, Information Technology, Or A Related Field.

  • Extensive Experience In Database Management And Administration, With A Focus On Microsoft Sql Server Or Oracle Databases.

  • Strong Understanding Of Data Warehousing Concepts And Experience With Etl Tools Such As Informatica Or Talend.

  • Experience With Database Performance Tuning, Backup And Recovery, And Disaster Recovery Planning.

  • Excellent Communication Skills And The Ability To Work Collaboratively With Cross-Functional Teams And Stakeholders.
