  1. Develop and maintain automated tests using Cucumber and Java to ensure high quality and efficient products for Mastercard's payment technology.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand product requirements and design test strategies accordingly.
  3. Implement and execute automated test scripts to identify defects and report them to the development team.
  4. Continuously monitor and analyze test results to identify areas for improvement and recommend solutions.
  5. Conduct thorough regression testing to ensure the stability of the product and prevent any potential issues.
  6. Create and maintain test documentation such as test plans, test cases, and test reports.
  7. Stay updated with the latest automation testing tools and techniques to continuously improve the testing process.
  8. Collaborate with developers to troubleshoot and resolve issues identified during testing.
  9. Participate in agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives to provide updates on testing progress.
  10. Proactively identify and communicate any risks or challenges that may impact the quality or delivery of the product.
  11. Work closely with the quality assurance team to ensure that all testing activities are in line with industry standards and best practices.
  12. Contribute to the overall improvement of the software development process by providing feedback and suggestions for process enhancements.
  13. Mentor and train junior team members on automation testing best practices and techniques.
  14. Demonstrate a strong understanding of Mastercard's payment technology and how automation testing plays a crucial role in ensuring its success.

Job Qualifications

  • Proficiency In Cucumber: The Ideal Candidate Should Have Strong Hands-On Experience With Cucumber, A Popular Open-Source Bdd (Behavior Driven Development) Tool For Automating Acceptance Tests. They Should Be Able To Write Clear And Concise Bdd Scenarios Using Gherkin Syntax.

  • Strong Java Skills: The Candidate Should Have A Solid Understanding Of Java Programming Language And Its Object-Oriented Concepts. They Should Be Able To Write Efficient And Maintainable Automation Scripts Using Java Libraries And Frameworks.

  • Experience With Automation Testing: The Candidate Should Have A Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Automation Testing, Preferably In An Agile Development Environment. They Should Have A Good Understanding Of Test Automation Frameworks And Best Practices.

  • Knowledge Of Continuous Integration And Delivery: The Candidate Should Have Experience Working With Ci/Cd Tools Such As Jenkins And Gitlab. They Should Be Able To Integrate Automated Tests Into The Ci/Cd Pipeline And Troubleshoot Any Issues That Arise.

  • Communication And Teamwork Skills: As Part Of A Larger Development Team, The Candidate Should Possess Strong Communication And Collaboration Skills. They Should Be Able To Work Effectively With Developers, Product Owners, And Other Stakeholders To Ensure High-Quality Software Releases.
