- Conduct thorough reviews of Mastercard's global operations to identify areas of potential legal compliance risks.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
- Stay up-to-date on changes in laws and regulations to ensure Mastercard's compliance practices are current and effective.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure compliance requirements are integrated into business processes and practices.
- Conduct regular internal audits to assess compliance levels and identify areas for improvement.
- Prepare and deliver training sessions to employees on legal compliance topics, including anti-corruption, data privacy, and anti-money laundering.
- Assist in responding to and resolving compliance-related inquiries and investigations.
- Maintain accurate and organized records of all compliance activities and documentation.
- Identify and report potential compliance issues to management and provide recommendations for corrective action.
- Develop relationships with external legal and compliance partners to stay informed of industry best practices and regulatory changes.
- Support the development and maintenance of Mastercard's Code of Ethics and Business Conduct.
- Serve as a compliance resource for employees, providing guidance and support on compliance-related matters.
- Participate in cross-functional projects to ensure compliance requirements are considered and addressed.
- Continuously monitor and improve compliance processes to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures and maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
Bachelor's Degree In Business Administration, Finance, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 2-3 Years Of Experience In A Legal Compliance Or Regulatory Role.
Strong Understanding Of Financial Industry Regulations And Laws, Such As Anti-Money Laundering (Aml) And Know Your Customer (Kyc) Regulations.
Excellent Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Interpret Complex Legal Documents And Identify Potential Compliance Risks.
Strong Communication Skills And The Ability To Collaborate With Cross-Functional Teams, Including Legal, Risk Management, And Business Units.
