- Conduct audits and assessments of the organization's technology infrastructure to identify potential risks and weaknesses.
- Develop and implement audit plans and procedures to evaluate the effectiveness of controls and processes in place.
- Evaluate the organization's compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards related to technology and data security.
- Analyze data and systems to identify potential vulnerabilities and recommend solutions to improve security and mitigate risk.
- Communicate audit findings and recommendations to relevant stakeholders, including non-technical individuals, in a clear and concise manner.
- Collaborate with IT teams to develop and implement remediation plans for identified issues.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technology trends, security threats, and industry best practices to continuously improve audit processes.
- Utilize specialized audit software and tools to conduct assessments and analyze data.
- Monitor and track the progress of remediation efforts and provide regular updates to management.
- Assist in the development and maintenance of IT policies, procedures, and standards to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate and participate in external audits and assessments, providing necessary documentation and support.
- Maintain accurate and detailed audit records and documentation for future reference and compliance purposes.
- Train and educate employees on information security best practices and protocols to promote a culture of security awareness.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement and optimize the organization's overall technology infrastructure.
Bachelor's Degree In Information Technology, Computer Science, Or A Related Field.
Certification In Information Systems Auditor (Cisa) Or Certified Information Systems Security Professional (Cissp).
Minimum Of 3 Years Experience In It Auditing, Risk Assessment, Or Security Analysis.
Knowledge Of Regulatory Compliance Requirements, Such As Hipaa, Sarbanes-Oxley, And Pci-Dss.
Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Identify And Mitigate Potential Risks And Vulnerabilities.
