- Develop and implement a comprehensive enterprise cyber security strategy in alignment with business objectives and industry best practices.
- Lead a team of cyber security professionals to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of company's critical information assets.
- Conduct risk assessments and develop risk management plans to proactively identify and mitigate potential cyber threats.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging cyber security trends, technologies, and regulations to continuously improve the organization's security posture.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security controls and processes into business operations.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with senior leadership, providing regular updates on cyber security posture and recommending necessary actions.
- Oversee the implementation and maintenance of security tools and technologies, such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and identity access management systems.
- Develop and maintain cyber incident response plans and procedures to effectively handle security incidents and breaches.
- Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of cyber security controls and processes.
- Conduct regular security awareness training for employees to promote a strong security culture throughout the organization.
- Manage the cyber security budget, ensuring cost-effective use of resources while maintaining a high level of security.
- Represent the organization in external meetings, conferences, and other industry events related to cyber security.
- Participate in the recruitment, training, and development of cyber security team members to build a skilled and motivated workforce.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards related to cyber security.
- Prepare and present regular reports to senior leadership on the status of the organization's cyber security posture.
Extensive Experience In Cyber Security: A Successful Candidate For This Role Should Have A Minimum Of 10 Years Of Experience In The Field Of Cyber Security, With A Proven Track Record Of Implementing Effective Security Strategies And Protocols.
Knowledge Of Industry Best Practices: The Head Of Enterprise Cyber Security Should Possess A Deep Understanding Of The Latest Trends And Developments In The Cyber Security Industry, And Be Able To Apply This Knowledge To Develop And Maintain A Comprehensive Security Program.
Leadership Skills: As A Leader In The Cyber Security Department, The Candidate Should Have Strong Leadership Skills And Be Able To Effectively Manage A Team Of Security Professionals.
