- Develop and implement a comprehensive third party risk management program, including policies, procedures, and controls.
- Evaluate and monitor third party relationships to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
- Conduct risk assessments and due diligence on new and existing third party vendors.
- Provide guidance and support to business units in managing third party risks.
- Collaborate with legal, compliance, and other departments to ensure third party contracts and agreements are in alignment with MassMutual's risk appetite.
- Keep abreast of emerging cyber threats and vulnerabilities and proactively mitigate potential risks.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and external parties, such as regulators and industry peers.
- Oversee and manage the cyber insurance program, including evaluating and selecting insurance coverage and managing claims.
- Develop and deliver training and awareness programs on third party and cyber risk management for employees.
- Prepare and present regular reports to senior management on the status of third party and cyber risk management efforts.
- Lead incident response and remediation efforts in the event of a cyber security incident involving third party vendors.
- Continuously review and improve the third party risk management program to ensure its effectiveness and efficiency.
- Provide leadership and guidance to a team of risk management professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation.
- Stay up to date with relevant regulations and industry standards related to third party and cyber risk management.
- Represent MassMutual in external forums and industry events related to third party and cyber risk management.
Extensive Knowledge Of Cybersecurity: The Ideal Candidate Should Possess Comprehensive Knowledge Of Cybersecurity Principles, Practices, And Technologies, Including Risk Assessment, Vulnerability Management, And Incident Response.
Strong Risk Management Background: The Head Of Cyber Third Party And Risk Management Must Have A Proven Track Record In Managing Risk In A Corporate Environment, With Experience In Developing And Implementing Risk Management Strategies And Processes.
Experience In Third Party Risk Management: A Successful Candidate Should Have Prior Experience In Managing Third-Party Risk, Including Vendor Risk Assessments, Contract Negotiations, And Ongoing Monitoring And Oversight Of Third-Party Relationships.
Leadership And Communication Skills: As A Senior Leader, The Candidate Must Have Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Build And Maintain Relationships With Stakeholders At All Levels Of The Organization.
