- Conduct thorough and accurate audits of MassMutual's financial operations to ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
- Analyze financial data and reports to identify any discrepancies or potential areas of risk.
- Develop and implement audit plans and procedures to effectively evaluate the company's financial processes and controls.
- Communicate audit findings and recommendations to management and collaborate with them to implement corrective actions.
- Stay up-to-date on industry regulations and best practices to ensure compliance and identify areas for improvement.
- Utilize strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and address potential financial risks.
- Maintain accurate and organized documentation of audit processes and findings.
- Collaborate with other departments and teams within the company to promote a culture of integrity and accountability.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and make recommendations to increase efficiency and effectiveness of financial operations.
- Uphold the values and standards of MassMutual, including integrity and ethical conduct, in all audit activities.
Bachelor's Degree In Accounting, Finance, Or Related Field.
Certified Public Accountant (Cpa) Or Certified Internal Auditor (Cia) Designation.
Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Financial Auditing, Preferably In The Insurance Industry.
Strong Knowledge Of Gaap, Sox Compliance, And Internal Control Practices.
Excellent Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills, With Attention To Detail And Ability To Prioritize And Manage Multiple Tasks.
