  5. Possess strong skills and qualifications: Utilize your knowledge and expertise as a Medical Assistant to provide high-quality care and assist in complex procedures, such as administering injections or performing EKGs.
  6. Demonstrate compassion and empathy: Show genuine care and concern for patients by providing emotional support and ensuring their comfort and well-being during appointments.
  7. Maintain confidentiality and professionalism: Adhere to ethical standards and maintain patient privacy and confidentiality at all times.
  8. Multi-task and prioritize: Manage multiple tasks and responsibilities, such as scheduling appointments, answering phone calls, and assisting with administrative duties, while maintaining a focus on patient care.
  9. Uphold the values of the organization: Represent the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and its primary care office with professionalism and integrity at all times.
  10. Continuously improve and learn: Participate in ongoing training and education opportunities to stay current on best practices and advancements in the healthcare field.

Job Qualifications
  • Certified Medical Assistant (Cma) Or Registered Medical Assistant (Rma) Credential From A Recognized Institution.

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In A Primary Care Setting.

  • Proficient In Electronic Health Record (Ehr) Systems, Such As Epic Or Cerner.

  • Knowledge Of Medical Terminology And Procedures, Including Taking Vital Signs, Administering Injections, And Performing Phlebotomy.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Effectively Interact With Patients, Physicians, And Other Healthcare Professionals.
