  1. Plan and coordinate all aspects of events, including logistics, scheduling, and budgeting.
  2. Collaborate with team members from both the MIT Museum and Nord Anglia Education to develop and execute event concepts.
  3. Conduct research and stay informed on current trends in event planning and education to ensure events are innovative and engaging.
  4. Manage event timelines and ensure all tasks are completed within designated deadlines.
  5. Oversee event set-up and breakdown, including coordinating with vendors and volunteers.
  6. Create and distribute event marketing materials to promote events to students and the public.
  7. Work closely with the education department to align events with educational goals and objectives.
  8. Handle event registrations and communicate event details to attendees.
  9. Develop and maintain relationships with external partners and sponsors to secure resources and funding for events.
  10. Collect and analyze event data to measure success and make recommendations for improvement.
  11. Collaborate with other departments within the MIT Museum and Nord Anglia Education to ensure events are aligned with overall organizational goals.
  12. Maintain event budgets and track expenses to ensure events remain within budget.
  13. Communicate event updates and details to all relevant stakeholders.
  14. Ensure all events are executed safely and in accordance with relevant regulations and policies.
  15. Continuously seek opportunities for improvement and innovation in event planning processes and procedures.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Event Management, Hospitality, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 2-3 Years Of Experience In Event Planning And Coordination, Preferably In A Museum Or Educational Setting.

  • Excellent Organizational And Time-Management Skills, With The Ability To Handle Multiple Projects And Meet Tight Deadlines.

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Collaborate With Diverse Stakeholders And Manage Relationships With External Vendors And Partners.

  • Knowledge Of Event Technology And Software, Such As Event Registration Platforms, Project Management Tools, And Budget Tracking Systems.
