  1. Coordinate and manage all aspects of research projects related to electromagnetic interactions, ensuring timely and successful completion.
  2. Serve as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders, including researchers, faculty, and external collaborators.
  3. Develop and maintain project timelines, budgets, and resources, and regularly communicate updates to project team members.
  4. Facilitate communication and collaboration between team members, ensuring that all project activities are aligned with the overall research goals.
  5. Manage project documentation, including proposals, reports, and presentations, and ensure that all project-related materials are accurate and up-to-date.
  6. Monitor project progress and identify potential risks or issues, proposing solutions and implementing strategies to mitigate them.
  7. Coordinate and schedule meetings, workshops, and other project-related events, and ensure that all necessary materials and resources are available.
  8. Maintain accurate records of project expenses and report on project budget status to project leads and stakeholders.
  9. Serve as a liaison between the EMI Group and other departments or organizations involved in the research projects.
  10. Identify opportunities for improving project processes and procedures, and implement changes to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
  11. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in project management, and apply them to enhance project outcomes.
  12. Collaborate with the EMI Group leadership to develop and implement long-term strategic plans for the group's research projects.
  13. Mentor and support junior team members, providing guidance and training as needed.
  14. Uphold the values and mission of MIT's EMI Group and represent the group in a professional and positive manner at all times.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Engineering, Physics, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 3 Years Of Project Management Experience, Preferably In A Research Or Academic Setting.

  • Knowledge Of Electromagnetic Interactions And Their Applications In Research.

  • Strong Organizational And Communication Skills, With The Ability To Coordinate And Manage Multiple Projects Simultaneously.

  • Familiarity With Project Management Software And Tools, Such As Microsoft Project Or Asana.
