  1. Manage and oversee all contracts and intellectual property agreements for Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
  2. Ensure that all contracts and agreements are in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
  3. Review and negotiate contract terms and conditions to protect the interests of the institute.
  4. Coordinate with various departments and stakeholders to gather necessary information for contract drafting and review.
  5. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all contracts and agreements.
  6. Monitor and track the expiration dates and renewal deadlines of contracts and agreements.
  7. Assist in the development and implementation of policies and procedures related to contract management and intellectual property.
  8. Act as a liaison between the institute and external parties, such as vendors, partners, and collaborators, for contract and intellectual property matters.
  9. Conduct research and stay up-to-date on industry best practices and regulations related to contract management and intellectual property.
  10. Provide support and guidance to faculty and staff on contract and intellectual property issues.
  11. Collaborate with legal counsel to resolve any contract or intellectual property related disputes or issues.
  12. Continuously improve and streamline contract and intellectual property management processes to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
  13. Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  14. Keep current with changes in contract and intellectual property laws and regulations.
  15. Represent the institute professionally and uphold its reputation in all contract and intellectual property matters.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Business Administration, Legal Studies, Or A Related Field

  • Minimum Of 3 Years Experience In Contract Management And Intellectual Property Administration

  • Strong Knowledge Of Contract Law, Intellectual Property Law, And Compliance Regulations

  • Proficiency In Contract Management Software And Microsoft Office Suite

  • Excellent Communication And Negotiation Skills, With The Ability To Work Collaboratively With Various Stakeholders And Departments.
