  1. Develop and implement strategies for enhancing the overall member experience for alumni of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
  2. Manage and oversee all aspects of member services, including membership recruitment, retention, and engagement.
  3. Maintain a high level of customer service and respond promptly to inquiries and concerns from alumni regarding membership and operations.
  4. Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to ensure the smooth functioning of operations and services related to the alumni community.
  5. Monitor and analyze member data to identify trends and make recommendations for improving services and operations.
  6. Develop and manage the budget for member services and operations, ensuring efficient use of resources and adherence to financial policies.
  7. Plan and execute events and programs that engage and connect alumni, fostering a strong sense of community and pride in the institution.
  8. Oversee the maintenance and updating of the alumni database, ensuring accuracy and completeness of records.
  9. Develop and implement policies and procedures for membership and operations, ensuring compliance with institutional guidelines and industry standards.
  10. Supervise and provide guidance to staff responsible for member services and operations, ensuring a high level of performance and professionalism.
  11. Serve as a liaison between the Alumni Association and other departments to coordinate efforts and ensure alignment with overall institutional goals.
  12. Stay informed of industry trends and best practices in member services and operations, and make recommendations for incorporating new strategies and technologies.
  13. Collaborate with the marketing and communications team to develop and distribute promotional materials and communications to engage alumni and promote membership.
  14. Represent the Alumni Association at events and conferences to promote membership and build relationships with potential members.
  15. Continuously evaluate and assess the effectiveness of member services and operations, and make adjustments as needed to ensure the satisfaction and engagement of alumni.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Business Administration, Sports Management, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 3 Years Of Experience In A Leadership Role In Member Services And/Or Operations.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Facility And Event Management, Including Scheduling, Staffing, And Budgeting.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Collaborate With A Diverse Team And Effectively Communicate With Members.

  • Proficiency In Computer Systems And Software, Including Microsoft Office And Facility Management Software.
