Sr Compliance Analyst - IT Security

Mary Kay is looking for an experienced Sr Compliance Analyst - IT Security to join our team. We are looking for a highly motivated individual with a passion for security compliance, who is both detail-oriented and a team player. The ideal candidate should have experience in risk assessment and IT security compliance, as well as familiarity with industry-standard security frameworks. The Sr Compliance Analyst - IT Security will be a critical part of ensuring Mary Kay’s compliance with IT security regulations.The successful candidate must have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, as well as a minimum of 5 years of experience in IT Security or Compliance. In addition, they must possess strong interpersonal skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and be highly organized and detail-oriented. The ideal candidate will have a passion for learning and staying up to date with the latest tech and security trends. Knowledge of security frameworks such as NIST, CIS, ISO 27001, and FFIEC is a plus.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop and implement IT security compliance programs that comply with industry-standard security frameworks.
2. Monitor and audit IT systems to ensure they are compliant with applicable security regulations.
3. Identify and address any IT security compliance gaps.
4. Maintain a comprehensive understanding of applicable security regulations and industry standards.
5. Conduct risk assessments and provide recommendations for improving IT security controls.
6. Lead internal and external IT security audits to ensure compliance with established policy and procedures.
7. Create and maintain documentation of IT security compliance activities for internal and external audits.
8. Develop and conduct training programs on IT security compliance and security awareness for staff.
9. Stay current on the latest trends in IT security and compliance.
10. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure IT security standards are met.
