Job Description

Mars Incorporated is seeking a dynamic and highly motivated individual to join our team as the Vice President, Sales Food & Nutrition. In this role, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and profitability for our Food & Nutrition business across all channels. We are looking for a strategic leader with a proven track record in developing and executing successful sales strategies, as well as a passion for the food and nutrition industry.   1. Develop and implement sales strategies for the Food & Nutrition business that align with overall company goals and objectives.
  2. Drive sales growth and profitability by identifying new business opportunities, developing relationships with key clients, and expanding market share.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, operations, and finance, to ensure alignment and execution of sales strategies.
  4. Analyze market trends and consumer insights to identify opportunities for growth and adjust sales strategies accordingly.
  5. Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, distributors, and other partners to increase sales and customer satisfaction.
  6. Lead and develop a high-performing sales team, providing coaching, training, and support to achieve individual and team goals.
  7. Monitor and analyze sales performance, identify areas for improvement, and develop action plans to address any issues.
  8. Develop and manage the sales budget, making strategic decisions to optimize resources and achieve targets.
  9. Stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities to inform sales strategies and stay ahead of the competition.
  10. Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows to promote the Food & Nutrition business and generate new business opportunities.
  11. Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and ethical standards in all sales activities.
  12. Continuously evaluate and improve sales processes, systems, and tools to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
  13. Communicate regularly with senior management on sales performance, market trends, and opportunities for growth.
  14. Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the sales team.
  15. Uphold the company's values and culture, and serve as a positive role model for all employees.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Business Administration, Marketing, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 10 Years Of Experience In Sales, Preferably In The Food And Nutrition Industry.

  • Proven Track Record Of Successful Sales Management, Including Setting And Achieving Sales Targets, Developing Strategies, And Managing A Team.

  • Strong Leadership And Communication Skills, With The Ability To Build And Maintain Relationships With Clients, Stakeholders, And Team Members.

  • In-Depth Knowledge Of The Food And Nutrition Market, Including Industry Trends, Competition, And Customer Needs.
