- Lead and manage a team of scientists to ensure product compliance with scientific and regulatory standards.
- Conduct thorough research and analysis to stay updated on industry and regulatory developments.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement strategies for product development and improvement.
- Develop and maintain relationships with regulatory agencies to ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
- Evaluate and approve new ingredients and suppliers to ensure quality and safety standards are met.
- Provide technical expertise and guidance to internal teams on scientific and regulatory matters.
- Review and approve product labels, claims, and marketing materials to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Conduct scientific risk assessments and develop risk management strategies to mitigate potential hazards.
- Develop and implement processes and procedures to ensure consistent adherence to scientific and regulatory standards across all products and brands.
- Train and mentor junior scientists on scientific and regulatory requirements and best practices.
- Participate in industry conferences and events to stay informed of emerging trends and technologies.
- Represent the company in meetings with regulatory agencies and industry organizations.
- Continuously review and improve internal processes to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
- Stay updated on consumer trends and preferences to inform product development and innovation.
- Uphold and promote company values and culture of diversity and inclusion in all interactions and decision-making processes.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Collaborate With Cross-Functional Teams And External Stakeholders.
Advanced Degree In A Relevant Scientific Field, Such As Food Science, Nutrition, Or Chemistry.
Minimum Of 10 Years Experience In A Research And Development Role Within The Food Industry.
Extensive Knowledge Of Food Regulations And Experience Managing Regulatory Compliance For Global Markets.
Strong Leadership Skills And Experience Managing A Team Of Scientists And Regulatory Professionals.
