We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Principal Scientist to join our Scientific & Regulatory Affairs team. As the Principal Scientist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our products meet the highest scientific and regulatory standards.   1. Lead and manage a team of scientists to ensure product compliance with scientific and regulatory standards.
  2. Conduct thorough research and analysis to stay updated on industry and regulatory developments.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement strategies for product development and improvement.
  4. Develop and maintain relationships with regulatory agencies to ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
  5. Evaluate and approve new ingredients and suppliers to ensure quality and safety standards are met.
  6. Provide technical expertise and guidance to internal teams on scientific and regulatory matters.
  7. Review and approve product labels, claims, and marketing materials to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  8. Conduct scientific risk assessments and develop risk management strategies to mitigate potential hazards.
  9. Develop and implement processes and procedures to ensure consistent adherence to scientific and regulatory standards across all products and brands.
  10. Train and mentor junior scientists on scientific and regulatory requirements and best practices.
  11. Participate in industry conferences and events to stay informed of emerging trends and technologies.
  12. Represent the company in meetings with regulatory agencies and industry organizations.
  13. Continuously review and improve internal processes to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
  14. Stay updated on consumer trends and preferences to inform product development and innovation.
  15. Uphold and promote company values and culture of diversity and inclusion in all interactions and decision-making processes.

Job Qualifications
  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Collaborate With Cross-Functional Teams And External Stakeholders.

  • Advanced Degree In A Relevant Scientific Field, Such As Food Science, Nutrition, Or Chemistry.

  • Minimum Of 10 Years Experience In A Research And Development Role Within The Food Industry.

  • Extensive Knowledge Of Food Regulations And Experience Managing Regulatory Compliance For Global Markets.

  • Strong Leadership Skills And Experience Managing A Team Of Scientists And Regulatory Professionals.
