
Machine Operator-Technician-Making/Packing-12 Hour Nights

In this role, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining the machines used in the making and packing of our delicious products. - Operate and monitor the production machines used in the making and packing of Mars confectionery products.
- Conduct regular quality checks to ensure products meet company standards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues with the machines to minimize downtime and maintain efficiency.
- Conduct routine maintenance and preventative maintenance on machines to ensure optimal performance.
- Follow all safety protocols and report any safety hazards or incidents immediately.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to maintain a smooth and efficient production process.
- Monitor inventory levels and report any shortages or discrepancies to the appropriate personnel.
- Maintain accurate production records and reports.
- Continuously strive to improve processes and identify areas for cost savings and efficiency.
- Participate in training programs to stay updated on machine operation techniques and safety procedures.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure a safe and hygienic production environment.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
- Communicate any issues or concerns to the appropriate supervisor.
- Assist with training and mentoring new team members as needed.
- Promote a positive and collaborative work environment.
Previous Experience In Machine Operation And Maintenance, Preferably In A Manufacturing Or Production Environment.
Strong Technical Skills And Knowledge Of Various Equipment And Tools Used In Packaging And Making Processes.
Ability To Troubleshoot And Resolve Mechanical And Technical Issues In A Timely Manner.
Familiarity With Quality Control Standards And Procedures To Ensure Product Consistency And Compliance.
Willingness To Work Night Shifts And Extended Hours, As Well As The Ability To Lift And Move Heavy Objects.
