At Mars, Incorporated, we seek an Internal Audit Director, Strategy & Professional Practices who is passionate about inspiring change and driving progress. This individual will be a key member of the Internal Audit team, leading the development and implementation of an audit strategy and ensuring the highest professional standards are met. Our ideal candidate will possess a combination of professional qualifications, experience, and an innovative mindset to ensure our audit practice continues to evolve and remain at the forefront of the profession.This individual will be an inspiring leader and have a deep commitment to foster a culture of collaboration, trust, and service excellence. They will have a passion for driving change and championing a culture of continuous improvement and risk management. To excel in this role, the successful candidate must have a bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field; a minimum of 10 years of internal audit experience, preferably in a large, complex global organization; and a Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) designation, or equivalent.The Internal Audit Director, Strategy & Professional Practices will be an important leader within our organization and will have a direct impact on our ability to meet and exceed our audit objectives. Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement internal audit strategy and ensure highest professional standards are met.
  2. Foster a culture of collaboration, trust, and service excellence.
  3. Drive change and champion a culture of continuous improvement and risk management.
  4. Provide inspiring leadership through direct and indirect mentorship of internal audit team.
  5. Monitor and assess the effectiveness of audit processes and identify areas of improvement.
  6. Review and analyze financial data and identify potential areas of risk.
  7. Develop and maintain relationships with external auditors, regulatory bodies, and other key stakeholders.
  8. Develop and administer audit policies, procedures, and practices.
  9. Prepare and present audit reports and recommendations to executive management.
  10. Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
