Job Description

The Program Manager is responsible for internal and external SRA activities and strategies related to scientific and regulatory monitoring, influencing and compliance needed to support current and future Innovation. The role will lead the global strategic development of ingredient and claims for existing and new ingredients including regulatory approvals in alignment with Mars businesses. Lead regulatory and strategic guidance to relevant internal partners on existing and new regulations and emerging regulatory issues of interest and managing technical regulatory issues. Supports Innovation projects by investigating the SRA landscape, provides strategic direction and coordinates with external consultants and regional teams to ensure timely execution of business strategy. Leads complex and strategically important SRA projects with global scope and impact.

Job Qualifications
  • 7+ years of experience in scientific and/or regulatory compliance with food products and/or related product categories

  • Experience in Treating and Snacking category is preferred.

  • Preferred Master's degree in a technical area such as nutrition and food science

  • Experience working with trade associations and government agencies to clarify and resolve regulatory matters is required.
