Mars, Incorporated is seeking an experienced Data Governance Expert, Customer and Pricing to join our team and help shape the future of our business. This position requires an individual who is passionate about data and its usage, has a natural eye for detail, and has experience in a customer and pricing-focused data governance role.The successful candidate will possess a combination of strong technical skills, business acumen, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills. The ideal candidate will be a creative problem-solver who is able to think strategically, while delivering results. A high degree of comfort with technology and an understanding of data governance principles is essential.The Data Governance Expert, Customer and Pricing will possess:• A degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field• 5+ years of experience in data governance, data management, and/or analytics• Experience with customer and pricing data, and an understanding of its importance to the business• Expertise in data governance processes, such as data quality, data access, data security, and metadata management• A keen eye for detail and strong problem-solving skills• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to explain complex data concepts to non-technical stakeholders• An understanding of data privacy regulations, as well as a commitment to protecting customer dataIf you are passionate about data governance, are an enthusiastic problem-solver, and have the necessary qualifications, we would love to hear from you. Responsibilities:

  1. Develop data governance strategies to ensure customer data accuracy and security.
  2. Lead data governance initiatives, such as data quality, data access, data security, and metadata management.
  3. Create and maintain customer and pricing data models.
  4. Monitor customer data for accuracy and compliance with data privacy regulations.
  5. Develop and implement best practices for customer data governance.
  6. Educate stakeholders on data governance principles.
  7. Define and track KPIs related to customer data governance.
  8. Conduct regular audits and reviews to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
  9. Collaborate with stakeholders to identify customer data insights.
  10. Provide recommendations for improving customer data governance processes.
