We are seeking a highly experienced and driven individual to join our team as the Corporate Scientific & Regulatory Affairs Director. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the compliance and safety of our products while driving innovation and growth through scientific research and regulatory initiatives. We are looking for a dynamic leader with a strong background in scientific and regulatory affairs, as well as excellent communication and collaboration skills.   1. Develop and implement strategies to ensure compliance with all scientific and regulatory requirements for food products.
  2. Lead and manage a team of scientific and regulatory professionals, providing guidance, support, and feedback to drive performance and achieve departmental goals.
  3. Conduct thorough research and analysis to stay current on industry trends, regulations, and advancements in food science.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure all products meet safety and quality standards.
  5. Create and maintain relationships with government agencies and industry organizations to stay informed and influence regulatory decisions.
  6. Oversee the submission and approval process for new products, ingredients, and claims.
  7. Develop and maintain internal policies and procedures related to scientific and regulatory affairs.
  8. Communicate complex scientific and regulatory information to various stakeholders, including senior management, legal teams, and external partners.
  9. Identify and mitigate potential risks related to product safety and regulatory compliance.
  10. Drive innovation and growth through scientific research and development initiatives.
  11. Provide guidance and support to marketing and sales teams on product claims and labeling requirements.
  12. Represent the company at industry conferences and events, serving as a subject matter expert on scientific and regulatory affairs.
  13. Continuously evaluate and improve processes and procedures to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
  14. Stay up-to-date on emerging trends and best practices in scientific and regulatory affairs.
  15. Uphold the company's values and promote a positive and inclusive work environment.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In A Relevant Scientific Field Such As Food Science, Nutrition, Or Chemistry.

  • Minimum Of 10 Years Of Experience In Scientific And Regulatory Affairs Within The Food Industry.

  • Strong Understanding Of Global Regulations And Policies Related To Food And Ingredient Safety, Labeling, And Advertising.

  • Proven Track Record Of Successfully Managing And Leading Cross-Functional Teams.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Collaborate With Internal And External Stakeholders.
