Mental Health Registered Nurse

We are hiring a Mental Health Registered Nurse (MHRN) to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team, including crisis specialists, behavioral health associates and a psychiatrist. The nurse will perform nursing assessments and screen for urgent or emergent medical issues to determine appropriate level of treatment based on assessment findings. The nurse will administer medication, including I.M. medication, and will monitor for efficacy as well as adverse effects. The MHRN will participate in the application of physical restraints as required and will make use of crisis intervention skills and utilize management of assaultive behavioral techniques.

North are the giant redwood trees of Muir Woods National Monument. Mount Tamalpais State Park’s namesake peak has panoramic views.
