Textile Designer

Responsibilities:

1. Research current trends and develop unique textiles that reflect the Marc Jacobs aesthetic.
2. Create high-quality textile designs that meet the requirements of the design team.
3. Communicate effectively with the design team to ensure that designs meet customer and corporate expectations.
4. Utilize computer-aided design software to create textile designs.
5. Produce accurate and detailed technical drawings for textiles.
6. Develop sketches and samples for consideration by the design team.
7. Create color palettes and monitor color trends.
8. Source materials and develop cost-effective patterns for production.
9. Stay current on industry developments and emerging trends.
10. Monitor production of textiles to ensure quality standards are maintained.
