Garment Technologist

We are looking for an experienced Garment Technologist to join the team at Marc Jacobs. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to contribute to the design process and be a part of an iconic fashion house. In this role, you will coordinate with the internal teams to ensure a successful product launch. The ideal candidate will have a passion for quality, garment construction, and the Marc Jacobs brand, as well as a keen eye for detail. You will have a degree in fashion, with an emphasis in garment technology and production, or equivalent experience. You should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and have an understanding of the garment manufacturing process.We are looking for someone who is a self starter, highly organized, and has excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Responsibilities:

1. Coordinate with internal teams to ensure successful product launches.
2. Monitor garment production and construction processes and ensure adherence to quality standards.
3. Monitor customer feedback and help develop strategies to improve quality and customer satisfaction.
4. Monitor the design process and ensure accuracy and adherence to brand standards.
5. Utilize problem-solving and creative skills to suggest new solutions and improvements.
6. Collaborate with the team to ensure efficient and timely completion of projects.
7. Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers.
8. Ensure compliance with safety and industry regulations.
9. Remain up-to-date on industry trends and developments.
10. Prepare reports and presentations as required.
