Fashion Buyer

We at Marc Jacobs are looking for a fashion-savvy and creative individual to join our team as a Fashion Buyer. The successful candidate will be an integral part of the Brand’s team, responsible for identifying and selecting the merchandise that will be sold in our stores. In this role, you will be tasked with ensuring the right product mix, negotiating with vendors, and staying on top of the latest industry trends.The ideal candidate for this position will have a strong knowledge of fashion merchandising, a passion for product development, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to think strategically. Additionally, they must have excellent organizational and multitasking skills, the ability to work independently, and the ability to think quickly when needed. Responsibilities:

1. Develop a diverse product mix to be sold in stores.
2. Source and negotiate with vendors to ensure the best prices and product assortment.
3. Analyze the latest fashion trends and make recommendations for the product mix.
4. Collaborate with the Brand’s team to develop product development strategies.
5. Manage inventory and stock levels to ensure efficient product distribution.
6. Maintain a strong knowledge of fashion merchandising and a passion for product development.
7. Develop and maintain relationships with vendors.
8. Monitor store performance and customer feedback to make improvements.
9. Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures.
10. Maintain excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
