Associate Manager

We at Madewell are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Associate Manager to join our incredible team! In this role, you will be responsible for leading a team of Madewell associates and providing exemplary customer service in order to create an enjoyable in-store shopping experience.To be successful in this role, you must have at least two years of retail management experience, as well as demonstrated leadership ability and strong interpersonal skills. A bachelor’s degree is preferred but not required. Responsibilities:

• Lead and motivate a team of Madewell associates to provide exemplary customer service and create an enjoyable in-store shopping experience
• Oversee day-to-day retail operations to ensure smooth store operations
• Develop and implement strategies to drive sales and optimize profitability
• Monitor and analyze store performance and develop action plans to improve sales and profitability
• Monitor customer feedback and initiate appropriate actions to address customer issues and ensure customer satisfaction
• Develop and maintain a positive and productive working environment for all staff
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure display standards are met
• Provide regular performance feedback to associates and coach them to success
• Recruit, hire, train, and develop new associates and review existing team members’ performance
• Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of the Madewell brand and products
