Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Associate Manager to join our team at Madewell. Our ideal candidate is a forward-thinking, organized, and customer-focused individual who will help drive sales and create an exceptional in-store experience. Our Associate Managers are responsible for leading and inspiring a team of sales associates, ensuring exceptional customer service, and helping to develop and maintain our Madewell culture.The successful candidate will have previous retail experience, excellent communication and organizational skills, and a strong understanding of the Madewell brand. If you are passionate about retail, have a keen eye for detail, and are looking to join a dynamic team, this position could be the perfect fit for you!

Responsibilities:

  1. Lead and inspire a team of sales associates by setting an example of excellence and providing guidance and support at all times.
  2. Ensure exceptional customer service by responding to customer inquiries and resolving complaints in a timely manner.
  3. Maintain and develop the Madewell brand by consistently upholding brand standards and values.
  4. Drive sales and create an exceptional in-store experience by utilizing sales techniques, product knowledge, and store promotions.
  5. Monitor and manage inventory levels, restock shelves, and ensure product displays are kept up to date.
  6. Assist with hiring, training, and evaluating sales associates.
  7. Develop and implement strategies to increase store sales and customer loyalty.
  8. Manage store operations, including scheduling, opening/closing procedures, and financial reporting.
  9. Foster a culture of collaboration and teamwork among staff.
