  1. Develop and execute a comprehensive product strategy for the Trust & Safety team at Lyft.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and prioritize product roadmap items that align with business goals and user needs.
  3. Conduct market research and gather feedback from drivers, riders, and industry experts to identify opportunities for product improvement.
  4. Lead a team of product managers to drive the ideation, development, and launch of new safety features and initiatives.
  5. Establish and maintain partnerships with external organizations and stakeholders to enhance safety and security on the Lyft platform.
  6. Analyze data and metrics to track the performance and impact of Trust & Safety product initiatives.
  7. Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies related to trust and safety.
  8. Collaborate with engineering, design, and data teams to deliver high-quality products that meet user needs and business objectives.
  9. Monitor industry trends and advancements in safety technology to continuously improve and innovate the Trust & Safety product offerings.
  10. Communicate product updates and progress to senior leadership and stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
  11. Foster a culture of trust, collaboration, and innovation within the Trust & Safety product team.
  12. Act as a subject matter expert on trust and safety principles and best practices, both internally and externally.
  13. Represent Lyft at industry events and conferences to share insights and showcase our commitment to safety.
  14. Continuously seek opportunities to improve processes and procedures within the Trust & Safety product team.

Job Qualifications
  • Strong Understanding Of Safety And Trust Principles: A Successful Staff Product Manager At Lyft Should Have A Deep Understanding Of Safety And Trust Principles, Including Fraud Prevention, User Safety, And Risk Management. They Should Also Have A Track Record Of Implementing Successful Safety And Trust Initiatives In A Fast-Paced Environment.

  • Experience In Product Management: A Staff Product Manager Should Have At Least 5 Years Of Experience In Product Management, Preferably In A Consumer-Facing Company. They Should Have A Proven Track Record Of Successfully Launching And Managing Products From Ideation To Launch.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration Skills: As A Staff Product Manager, The Candidate Should Have Excellent Communication And Collaboration Skills To Work With Cross-Functional Teams Including Engineering, Design, Data Science, And Legal To Develop And Launch Safety And Trust Products.

  • Analytical And Data-Driven Mindset: A Successful Candidate Should Be Able To Use Data To Drive Decision-Making And Prioritize Product Initiatives. They Should Have Experience In Conducting A/B Testing, Analyzing Data, And Making Data-Driven Recommendations For Product Improvements.

  • Passion For Safety And User Trust: Lyft Values The Safety And Trust Of Its Users Above Everything Else. A Staff Product Manager Should Have A Genuine Passion For Creating A Safe And Trustworthy Experience For Lyft Users. They Should Be Able To Bring Creative And Innovative Ideas To The Table To Continuously Improve Safety And Trust Measures At Lyft.
