  1. Develop and implement innovative design solutions that meet the needs and expectations of business travelers.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, engineers, and researchers, to understand user needs and drive design strategy.
  3. Conduct user research and gather feedback to inform design decisions and iterate on designs.
  4. Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs to effectively communicate design concepts and solutions.
  5. Ensure that all designs are in line with brand guidelines and maintain consistency across all platforms.
  6. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to continuously improve the user experience.
  7. Present design concepts and solutions to stakeholders and gather feedback for further improvement.
  8. Work closely with engineers to ensure designs are accurately implemented and maintain design integrity.
  9. Act as a mentor and provide guidance to junior designers on the team.
  10. Continuously gather and analyze user data to identify areas for improvement and make data-driven design decisions.
  11. Collaborate with the marketing team to create marketing materials and campaigns that effectively promote the business travel experience.
  12. Take ownership of projects and see them through from conception to launch.
  13. Represent the design team and advocate for user-centered design principles within the company.
  14. Maintain a strong portfolio showcasing your design skills and experiences.
  15. Be an advocate for the Lyft brand and ensure all design work aligns with the company's mission and values.

Job Qualifications
  • Extensive Experience In Product Design: A Successful Candidate For This Role Should Have A Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Product Design, With A Strong Portfolio Showcasing Their Design Process And Impact On Consumer Experience.

  • Understanding Of Business Travel: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Deep Understanding Of The Business Travel Industry And The Needs Of Business Travelers. This Knowledge Will Be Essential In Designing Products That Cater To The Needs Of This Specific Segment.

  • User-Centric Approach: A Staff Product Designer Should Have A User-Centric Approach To Design, With The Ability To Conduct User Research, Gather Insights, And Translate Them Into Intuitive And User-Friendly Products.

  • Strong Design And Technical Skills: The Candidate Should Possess Strong Design Skills, Including Proficiency In Design Software Like Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, Etc. They Should Also Have A Good Understanding Of Front-End Development To Effectively Collaborate With Engineers And Bring Their Designs To Life.
