- Conduct financial analysis and forecasting to inform and support the company's growth strategy.
- Develop and maintain financial models and reporting to track key performance indicators and identify areas for growth.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, operations, and product, to understand business needs and provide strategic financial insights.
- Perform in-depth analyses of market trends and competitive landscape to identify opportunities for growth and inform business decisions.
- Provide recommendations and insights to senior leadership based on financial analysis and data-driven insights.
- Prepare and present financial reports and presentations to stakeholders, including executives and investors.
- Monitor and track financial performance against targets and provide recommendations for course corrections as needed.
- Stay updated on industry trends and developments, and apply this knowledge to financial analysis and forecasting.
- Lead ad-hoc projects and initiatives related to growth strategies and financial planning.
- Mentor and train junior analysts, providing guidance and support in financial analysis and modeling.
Extensive Financial Analysis Experience: A Senior Financial Analyst At Lyft Should Have A Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Financial Analysis, Preferably In A High-Growth Environment. They Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Financial Modeling, Forecasting, And Budgeting.
Strategic Thinking And Business Acumen: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Strategic Mindset And Be Able To Analyze Financial Data To Identify Growth Opportunities For The Company. They Should Also Possess Strong Business Acumen And Be Able To Understand How Financial Decisions Impact The Overall Business Strategy.
Strong Communication And Presentation Skills: As A Senior Member Of The Financial Team, The Senior Financial Analyst Will Be Responsible For Presenting Complex Financial Data To Executive Leadership And Cross-Functional Teams. Therefore, Excellent Communication And Presentation Skills Are Essential For This Role.
Proficiency In Financial Software And Tools: The Senior Financial Analyst Should Be Proficient In Financial Software And Tools Such As Excel, Tableau, And Financial Planning Systems. They Should Also Have Experience With Data Analysis And Data Visualization To Support Strategic Decision-Making.
Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Finance Or Accounting: A Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Finance, Accounting, Or A Related Field Is Required For This Role.
