
Senior Director, Talent Acquisition

- Develop and implement overall talent acquisition strategy for the company, in line with our mission and values.
- Lead and manage a team of talent acquisition professionals, ensuring they are motivated, engaged, and aligned with our company goals.
- Partner with senior leadership to understand current and future hiring needs and develop appropriate hiring plans and strategies.
- Create and maintain a diverse pipeline of top talent through various recruiting methods, including but not limited to job postings, events, networking, and referrals.
- Implement and continuously improve recruitment processes and procedures to ensure a positive candidate experience and efficient hiring process.
- Develop and maintain relationships with external recruiting partners and agencies to support our hiring needs.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to understand their hiring needs and provide guidance and support throughout the recruitment process.
- Monitor and analyze recruitment metrics to identify trends, make data-driven decisions, and continuously improve the effectiveness of our talent acquisition efforts.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations related to recruitment and hiring processes.
- Act as a brand ambassador for Lyft, promoting our culture, mission, and values to potential candidates.
- Continuously assess and improve the diversity and inclusivity of our hiring practices and work towards building a diverse and inclusive team.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in talent acquisition and incorporate them into our recruitment strategy.
- Collaborate with the People Operations team to ensure a seamless onboarding experience for new hires.
- Represent the company at job fairs, conferences, and other recruiting events to attract top talent.
- Act as a strategic advisor to senior leadership on all matters related to talent acquisition, including workforce planning, budgeting, and market trends.
Extensive Experience In Talent Acquisition: A Senior Director At Lyft Should Have A Proven Track Record Of Successfully Leading A Talent Acquisition Team And Implementing Effective Recruitment Strategies. This Includes Experience In Both Traditional And Innovative Methods Of Sourcing Top Talent.
Strong Leadership And Management Skills: The Senior Director Should Have Experience Managing And Developing A Team Of Talent Acquisition Professionals, As Well As Collaborating With Other Departments And Senior Leadership. This Individual Should Have The Ability To Set Clear Goals, Provide Direction, And Motivate Their Team To Achieve Results.
In-Depth Knowledge Of The Industry: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Deep Understanding Of The Ride-Sharing And Transportation Industry, As Well As The Broader Tech Landscape. This Includes Staying Up-To-Date On Industry Trends, Competitive Landscape, And Best Practices In Talent Acquisition.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills: The Senior Director Will Be Responsible For Developing Relationships With Internal Stakeholders, External Partners, And Candidates. They Should Have Strong Communication Skills To Effectively Articulate The Company's Culture, Values, And Opportunities To Potential Candidates.
