We are currently seeking an experienced Executive Communications Manager to join our dynamic team and lead our corporate communication efforts. As an Executive Communications Manager, you will play a critical role in building and maintaining effective communication strategies for our executive leadership team. Our ideal candidate is a highly skilled communicator with a strong background in public relations, corporate communications, and executive messaging.   1. Develop and implement effective corporate communication strategies for the executive leadership team.
  2. Collaborate with the executive team to understand their messaging and communication needs.
  3. Create compelling and consistent messaging for the executive team across various communication channels.
  4. Plan and execute communication plans for key company announcements, events, and initiatives.
  5. Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including media outlets, industry influencers, and internal teams.
  6. Monitor and analyze media coverage and industry trends to inform communication strategies.
  7. Manage crisis communication and provide guidance to the executive team during sensitive situations.
  8. Prepare talking points, speeches, presentations, and other materials for executive team members.
  9. Serve as a spokesperson for the company and represent the executive team in media interviews and public speaking engagements.
  10. Train and coach executives on effective communication techniques and messaging.
  11. Stay up-to-date on industry best practices and trends in executive communications.
  12. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and consistency in messaging.
  13. Track and report on the effectiveness of communication strategies and make adjustments as needed.
  14. Manage and oversee a team of communication professionals, providing guidance and support as needed.
  15. Maintain a strong understanding of Lyft's brand, values, and mission to ensure all communications align with the company's overall messaging.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Communications, Public Relations, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In A Communications Or Public Relations Role, Preferably In A Fast-Paced Corporate Environment.

  • Strong Written And Verbal Communication Skills, With The Ability To Craft Compelling Messages And Presentations For Executive-Level Audiences.

  • Experience In Developing And Executing Strategic Communications Plans, Including Crisis Communication Management.

  • Demonstrated Ability To Build And Maintain Relationships With Key Stakeholders, Both Internally And Externally, And Effectively Manage Cross-Functional Teams.
