  1. Develop and implement policies to ensure the safety and well-being of Lyft drivers and passengers.
  2. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and changes in trust and safety issues to inform policy decisions.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure policies are effectively communicated and implemented.
  4. Conduct regular reviews and assessments of existing policies to identify areas for improvement and make necessary updates.
  5. Monitor and analyze data and trends related to trust and safety incidents to inform policy decisions.
  6. Work closely with legal and compliance teams to ensure policies align with regulatory requirements.
  7. Develop and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, such as law enforcement agencies, to enhance trust and safety measures.
  8. Train and educate employees on trust and safety policies and procedures.
  9. Lead investigations into trust and safety incidents and implement corrective actions as needed.
  10. Serve as a subject matter expert and provide guidance on trust and safety issues to internal teams.
  11. Develop and maintain crisis management plans to address emergency situations.
  12. Represent Lyft in industry events and conferences related to trust and safety.
  13. Continuously evaluate and enhance policies to adapt to changing needs and risks.
  14. Manage a team of policy specialists and analysts to support the development and implementation of trust and safety policies.
  15. Collaborate with product teams to identify and implement technological solutions to improve trust and safety.
  16. Foster a culture of safety and trust within the organization.
  17. Prepare and present reports on trust and safety initiatives and progress to senior leadership.
  18. Collaborate with marketing and communications teams to communicate trust and safety initiatives to the public.

Job Qualifications
  • Experience In Developing And Implementing Trust And Safety Policies: The Ideal Candidate Should Have At Least 5 Years Of Experience In Developing And Implementing Trust And Safety Policies, Preferably In A Technology Or Transportation Company.

  • Strong Understanding Of Safety Regulations And Compliance: The Candidate Should Possess A Deep Understanding Of Safety Regulations And Compliance Requirements, Particularly In The Transportation Industry.

  • Strategic Thinking And Problem-Solving Skills: The Role Of A Director, Trust & Safety Policy Requires The Ability To Think Strategically And Proactively Identify Potential Safety Risks And Develop Effective Solutions.

  • Excellent Communication And Leadership Skills: This Position Involves Working With Cross-Functional Teams, As Well As Communicating With External Stakeholders. The Candidate Should Have Excellent Communication And Leadership Skills To Effectively Collaborate And Lead Initiatives.

  • Knowledge Of Emerging Safety Technologies: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Emerging Safety Technologies And Trends In The Transportation Industry, Such As Ai, Machine Learning, And Data Analytics, To Continuously Improve And Optimize Trust And Safety Policies.
