Job Description

As the Director of Trust & Safety Policy at Lyft, you will play a crucial role in shaping and enforcing our company's policies to ensure the safety and well-being of our riders and drivers.   1. Develop and implement policies and procedures that promote safety and trust within the Lyft community.
  2. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices for trust and safety policies.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure policies are consistent across all departments.
  4. Conduct regular audits and reviews of policies to identify areas for improvement.
  5. Monitor and analyze data related to safety incidents and take proactive measures to prevent future occurrences.
  6. Work closely with the legal team to ensure all policies are compliant with relevant laws and regulations.
  7. Communicate policy updates and changes to relevant stakeholders and ensure proper understanding and implementation.
  8. Develop and deliver training programs for employees and contractors on safety protocols and policies.
  9. Investigate and respond to safety-related complaints and incidents, taking appropriate actions to address any issues.
  10. Represent Lyft in industry meetings and conferences related to trust and safety policies.
  11. Monitor and enforce compliance with policies by conducting regular checks and implementing disciplinary actions when necessary.
  12. Continuously assess and improve the effectiveness of trust and safety policies through data analysis and feedback from stakeholders.
